Company Name :   Vodafone Essar Designation:   Assistant Manager-RF Stats-Network Performance Job Description: Key Functions & Responsibilities • To ensure excellent Radio Network Quality of the region through analysis and optimization of KPI’s for both voice (SD/TCH Drop Rate , Blocking Rate , Handover Success Rate, Rx Quality etc ) and Data (Throughput per TBF , TBF Success Rate , Mutilslot assignment success rate )and ensuring the Ranking amongst Top 5 for Circle and City corporate Ranking along with best network in external benchmarking exercise. • RF Optimization and Performance Monitoring (Roll Out, Existing Network): Optimizing the cells so that it meet the KPI targets along with proper dimensioning, tuning and implementation of various radio network features/parameters. • Use of Schema Automatic Freq. planning tool for Optimization, Ensuring all interfaces and BSC/TRC nodes are properly dimensioned and tuned. Coordinating for the various external Audits and maintaining the performance of the cell sites as per the TRAI guidelines. • Ensuring daily Routine set up for network health check, identification of affected cells and taking troubleshooting action accordingly. Recommendations and coordinating with RF,O&M Team for network improvement ( Site Expansion,4'th Sectors, TMA/TMB's,Height,Grid,Power Optimization,VSWR,Hardware failures etc). • Coordinating for various network changes like BSC Migrations, Site Reparenting, TRC Migrations and ensuring proper checks post activity to ensure its hitch free.
